American Red Cross. I visted a client in the hospital this morning, who had been there for several days. I wasn't notified immediately because he didn't have an emergency contact card in his wallet. That got me thinking. I didn't either. Do you? Especially if you live alone, you need to carry something on your person to tell the first responders whom to call. Do it now. Last month, a federal judge killed off most of Johnson & Johnson's trademark infringement claims against the American Red Cross. This morning, the New York Times reports the case has settled. Terms are confidential but both companies can continue to use the cross symbol.
