ConocoPhillips Company has filed an application to export previously imported LNG from the Freeport LNG terminal. Citing current conditions in
the U.S. natural gas market, ConocoPhillips is seeking a blanket authorization from the U.S. Department of Energy to export up to 500 Bcf of
previously imported LNG over a two year period. A notice in today's Federal Register offers additional details.

Dan Clark, manager of Cook Inlet assets for ConocoPhillips, told the Anchorage Daily News that ConocoPhillips is considering a wide range of options for the Kenai LNG facility, including whether to renew its LNG export license in 2011. Other options for
the facility include modifying the plant to accept LNG imports or using the facility for gas storage.

John Lowe, executive vice president of ConocoPhillips, told the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce that he is optimistic about the future of Canadian
natural gas in North America, saying that the "long-expected surge of LNG imports … has not materialized. Many LNG cargos are instead going to Europe and Asia where prices are higher."
