Dear Jerry and Steve,I'm writing on behalf of the tens of thousands of people who make their living as search engine marketing professionals. The potential of a Microsoft acquisition of
Yahoo would no doubt have a major impact on my life and so many others' and I want to give you a few ideas on how you should move forward once (if?) the acquisition is finalized. First

Attorney Rush Nigut was inspired to write in his blog about Y.E. Yang's recent victory over Tiger Woods in the PGA Championship. Nigut compared
the sporting match to a trial, correctly stating that in both cases, there is no guaranteed outcome. He makes an excellent point; one with which we are familiar in our own practice, for
many of our clients are considered the "underdog." We, too, are often underrated by our opposition, but are often motivated even more by these situations. (And we make it ...

There are just too many funny ways to end this paragraph from today's MarketWatch story about Yahoo's latest hair-brain scheme: In a sign of Yahoo's growing confidence in the ongoing
proxy war, CEO Jerry Yang told his employees that the company was launching an online advertising campaign in a bid to win over shareholders,
as he noted more media stories "that reflect an understanding of our

Last year when Terry Semel resigned as Yahoo CEO and Jerry Yang - Yahoo's co-founder - was announced as the new CEO, I was a little concerned,

such change for some time, first by critiquing Terry Semel's $230 million annual salary, then by questioning Jerry Yang's appointment to CEO,
and more recently by pleading with Yahoo to hire an outsider to replace
