As seen on Rocky Mountain News: EchoStar Communications Corp, the No. 2 U.S. satellite-TV provider, sued fiber-optic equipment maker
Finisar Corp., asking a court to rule it doesn't infringe a patent for a system to organize satellite-data transmissions. EchoStar,
based in Douglas County, claimed yesterday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware, that Finisar may file its own suit over the patent.
