I'm not personally familitar with the Kappa Alpha Order, so I'm sure I'm really qualified to comment on whether this was a case of oversensitivity or whether some offense was intended. However, it does raise the interesting question of whether an otherwise harmless celebration of the old south can really survive in the universities of the "new" south.
