Pennsylvania - The Forest Service announced that all permits for oil and gas leasing on the Allegheny National Forest will now be handled in the Milwaukee Regional Office. The change is rumored to have occured based on the number of current lawsuits challenging both the approval of drilling and the agency's right to regulate the drillers. Oregon - The Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests are beginning their review of off-road use in accordance with the nation travel management rule.
