This dates the psalms back to 2000 BC at least.Interesting is that the Dead Sea Scrolls show clearly that each day of the year had a specific psalm which had to be read on that day by the priest(s).This "year" of psalms corresponded to the Egyptian and Sumerian year of 360 viz. 365 days but not to the lunar year of the Canaanites.
