The Oscar Pistorius case has enthralled South Africans who are torn between supporting their hero and their disappointment at seemingly being let down by a South African icon. Oscar Pistorius is back in the news, as the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) prepares to rule that the South African known as “Blade Runner,” for the leg extensions that he relies on to motor around a track, is ineligible for Olympic competition. Der südafrikanische Olympia-Star Oscar Pistorius soll seine Lebensgefährtin laut Anklage erschossen haben. Während die Anklage von einem Mord ausgeht, beruft sich die Verteidigung auf einen tragischen Unfall.
