One of the vehicles was driving west, and crossed into eastbound traffic and collided with another vehicle. This collision caused a third vehicle to crash into them. All three… [read post]

This outdated legal principle holds that a defendant can completely avoid liability if he or she can prove the plaintiff was even 1% at-fault for the accident. In pedestrian [...] [read post]

As the response time of a drunk driver is appreciably slowed, they are often unable to apply their brakes or take evasive maneuvers to prevent or minimize a collision.  As a result, drunken driving accidents can be particularly violent and can lead to life-changing injuries.  If you or a family member has been seriously injured [...] [read post]

The national statistics regarding drunken driving accidents are troubling to say the least. A collision involving an intoxicated driver occurs once every minute, and nearly 10,000 people are killed in alcohol related accidents each year. Unfortunately, criminal proceedings against the responsible driver only serve to punish, they do little to assist the survivors of the [...] [read post]

By its express terms, the statute also protects those providing ambulance services. However, unlike other medical service providers, EMS providers may also file a lien against the real property [...] [read post]
