A Maidsville man died in a head-on collision near Newburg early Tuesday afternoon. Christopher Perani, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday afternoon. Paramedics attempted C.P.R. after firefighters removed Perani from his car, but all attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful, according to the Dominion Post in Morgantown, WV. Nicholas Ronald Vietti and Alan James Headly were both injured in an Oakfield Township rollover accident that took place on 16 Mile Road.  The single car accidentoccurred on Sunday, November 7th around 6 a.m.  According to police, Vietti, the driver of the vehicle, lost control along a curve on the road striking a tree and rolling over. Raymond Effner was killed in a Bloomingdale Township car accident while crossing M-40 near 24th avenue in his motorized wheelchair.  The accident took place just after 7 a.m.  According to police, Effner was crossing the street when a car struck him, causing Effner and his motorized wheelchair to be thrown off the road. The annual meeting of the American Association for Justice in San Francisco was, as always, excellent.
