Everyone today knows that it is illegal to drive with a blood alcohol content (BAC) above .08. The laws impose this limit to ensure that people do not drive when they are too impaired to react quickly, to pay attention and to make safe choices behind the wheel. Unfortunately, the laws may not be doing enough, as it is possible that those with a BAC below .08 may still be affected by alcohol and thus unable to drive safely. Our Boston car accident attorneys knows that drunk driving accidents can be… [read post]

Three girls in Midvale, Utah were rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car. The driver could have easily prevented the accident from happening – had he simply been paying attention to the road, and not his cell phone. The 28-year-old was texting behind the wheel, and didn’t see the three young girls, ages 14, 10 and 9, as they were crossing the street to get to a local swimming pool. With all of the recent fatalities in the Seattle area this year, from the tragic deaths of the brand-new grandparents in Wedgwood to the killing of the… [read post]

If there’s no police report your case becomes a little more complex than it otherwise would. On the other hand, we handle lots of cases where there’s no police report. I would say 10-15 percent of our cases there’s no police report. Sometimes the reason is the accident happened on private property, sometimes the reason is the police officer didn’t realize there was a serious injury. And, a corollary to that question is: what if I didn’t have an opportunity to give my… [read post]
