The U.S. State Department will ultimately decide if a man arrested in Oldham County on international terrorism charges will be extradited to Australia. 50-year old Paul Peters was arrested by federal agents and Australian authorities at the home of his ex-wife in Buckner on August 13. Peters is accused of strapping a fake bomb to the neck of an 18-year-old girl, the daughter of an Australian businessman, and leaving a ransom note. An attorney from north London will be extradited to the United States to face corruption charges following a ruling today by the High Court in London. A U.S. extradition request for the son-in-law of Nelson Mandela on rapes charges has been thrown out by a South African magistrate. A Kenyan woman allegedly caught on camera assaulting a bed-ridden 90-year-old man for urinating on himself risks being handed back to US authorities to stand trial.
