On October 8, 2013, three pedestrians were hit by a car in Lompoc, California as they were crossing the street at North Avenue. There was one teenager and two kids that were hit by a driver, who suffered no injuries. KEYT Channel 3 reports that all three pedestrians were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. With the growing list of states that have some type of legalized marijuana use, it is important not to transfer a firearm to anyone who is a user of marijuana or medical marijuana (which are both illegal under federal laws). The two-car collision occurred on State Route 46 near Jardine Road.
