Last night, Thursday May 23, 2013, a fatal crash happened in the Encinitas, CA area.
A man, whose name was not released, was visiting from Portugal and had only been here for a few weeks. According to two of his classmates, who had been following in a separate car, the man drove into oncoming traffic as he was going around a curve. He went over the median and was struck by two trucks that were in the oncoming traffic.

A Lauderdale Lakes man, Romial Romeus, 37, whose negligence caused a deadly automobile accident that killed four members of the same family lost his drivers' license and must pay $4,000 according to a Broward judge.

Early Monday morning, May 20, 2013 a crash involving multiple vehicles took place just south of Via De La Valle on Interstate 5 . Two of the individuals were taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital. One person was said to have major injuries. No further information was given regarding the injuries sustained by both parties.

Have you ever been behind the wheel of a large SUV in Miami? A homeless man was hit by two cars last week in Anaheim,CA. The reports say that he was hit first, by a small white car; shortly after he was hit again by another. The first car left the scene of the accident and has yet to come forward, but the second stayed.
The man was taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition. Although he will survive, there was no detail given as to the specific injuries he sustained.

Monday May 20, 2013, a man riding his motorcycle lost his life after being involved in a collision with another car. Reports say that he was riding on Valley Center Road when another car pulled out in front of him.

Yesterday there was a terrible construction accident at the Montgomery Mall Parking garage. One man was killed and another was apparently seriously injured.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the man killed and to the man who was seriously injured.
Construction accidents like this typically occur because safety rules are not followed.

An eighteen-year-old Amesbury, Massachusetts resident is finally walking again, more than seven months after losing her leg in a horrific accident. Paige Fortin has endured a long road of recovery, including numerous surgeries and other setbacks, but within the past few weeks Fortin has been fitted with a prosthetic leg, and is now walking for the first time since the accident. In 1975, the Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act ("MICRA") was set into law in California. This law unfairly limits the amount of money that a victim of medical malpractice can receive for his or her pain and suffering to only $250,000. This past March, Florida’s Second District Court of Appeals tackled an important issue in the case of Smith v. Beware, distracted drivers! (Which we’re sure none of our readers are…) The Washington State Patrol takes their job very seriously, and over the next two weeks, they will be watching the roads especially closely. The additional eyes are a part of the “Click it or Ticket” campaign. When a person is killed because of another person’s neglect or a company’s recklessness, Idaho law allows a lawsuit to be brought for wrongful death. Jan Care Accident Injures Three People in Doddridge County: West Virginia State Police are investigating an ambulance crash that happened in Doddridge County on the night of May 20, 2013.
