A 59-year-old South Carolina man was tending to his broken down pick-up truck on the side of an Aiken County highway, when a drunk driver lost control of his car and skidded off the road, slamming into the pick-up truck.  The pick-up truck was forced into the man who was checking under the hood, and he later died from his injuries. ABC news reports that the now that a criminal jury in the Michael Jackson case has found his doctor, Conrad Murray, guilty of involuntary manslaughter, the Jackson family's next step in all likelihood is to pursue a civil case against Murray for medical malpractice. A second Illinois resident has been infected with fungal meningitis in the nationwide outbreak that has infected over 400 people in 19 states, killing 30, according to the CDC. Gun control advocates will try to hold a website that facilitates arms sales legally responsible for the murder of a sixth grade teacher in Oak Brook.
