Had there been a left turn signal, this accident may have been avoided. The city of San Diego will pay $1.8 million to settle a wrongful death lawsuit brought by the family of a motorcyclist who was killed in an accident caused by a dangerous intersection.  What’s even more appalling to San Diego motorcycle accident attorneys is that the fatal accident could have been avoided if the city had simply spent $3,000 to install a traffic signal at the intersection. 34 year Ryan Edward Morton from Gwinnett County, killed two people in a car wreck Thursday, November 17, 2011. Morton was driving a white Chevrolet Astro van on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road southbound when he ran a red light at Riverside Parkway near Lawrenceville and struck two vehicles. The family of a man who died while in county custody is planning to file a Texas wrongful death lawsuit. The victim was Jesus Manuel Galindo, an inmate in the Reeves County Detention Center.
