On Wednesday December 18th around 5:00 am a 36-year-old construction worker, Lewis Winston III was hit by a car and killed while he was working in a construction zone along the Highway. He was working in San Antonio on the southbound lanes of Interstate 37 near Loop 410 collecting signs in the construction zone. A driver was killed Sunday, October 20, 2013 at approximately 3:25 a.m. in Houston on Interstate 610 at Ashland Street, according to police. The initial accident occurred when a Toyota Camry and a Chevrolet sedan collided, according to the Houston Police Department. Subsequently, when the driver of the Camry got out to survey the scene, he was struck and killed by a third car. A 25 year old man Angel Garcia tragically passed away from an incident at a construction site where he was working. He fell four stories while he was working at the Kyle Field construction site on Texas A&M stadium. Garcia was working for Lindamood Demolition when he fell from the north end of the stadium around 11:25 am on Tuesday. Halbert Fanning Jr. was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the intersection of 8th Street and Meadow in Odessa, Texas. Preliminary reports indicate that Jonathan Miguel Scott, 21, was driving a Ford Crown Victoria when he struck Fanning. Justin Kaufman was killed by a motorist while riding his bicycle on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in the 11500 block of Lake June Road in Balch Springs, shortly after 10:00 p.m.; according to police. Kendrick Johnson was a 17 year old high school student when he died earlier this year. On the night of January 10, Johnson's parents reported him missing when he didn't come home.
