Additionaly while the protection acts of Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon, and West Virginia do not expressly include  spouses within the defintions of dependents, there is no indication in any of these statutes that a judge is not to include the considerations of dependents and other parties whose interests may be affected by a transaction.
