MDLs are fun.They keep lawyers busy, usually there are interesting and sophisticated legal issues, and the judge often takes interest in and sometimes even ownership of the cases.I see Judge Graham has certified a class in the marine hose antitrust cases in a thoughtful, well-reasoned order.Some of the defendants have also settled, though the Manuli defendants -- represented by Alan Greer and a team from Sullivan &;amp; Cromwell -- appear to be big losers… [read post]
