The court held that plaintiff's claims were barred by D.C.'s one-year statute of limitations for libel claims: Seltzer tries to avoid the statute of limitations problem by alleging that FINRA somehow linked the award to her on the web, or otherwise caused the award to appear in Google search results for her name and business, in 2021 and 2022, well after FINRA first posted the award.
