Joe Kristan reports that the House has expanded the new homebuyer credit and extended the carryback period for 2008 and 2009 net operating losses (NOLs) to 5 years: H.R. 3548 expands the credit to single taxpayers with AGI up to $125,000 and joint filers with AGIs up to $225,000; it phases out over a $20,000 AGI range beyond those limits.
