There has been much activity surrounding the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave law (PFML), which was enacted last summer as part of the so-called “Grand Bargain” legislation.1 As we previously reported, Governor Charlie Baker and the Massachusetts Legislature agreed to extend the start date for contributions from July 1, 2019 to October 1, 2019.
