Luckily the Supreme Court recently took on this case and handed down its judgment late last month.The case of Allen v Cooper concerned videos and photographs taken by Mr Allen for the company Intersal Inc., which discovered the shipwreck of the Queen Anne's Revenge (the famous ship owned by the pirate Blackbeard) in 1996 outside of the coast of North Carolina.
