About half way through I was saying "This book would make a lot more sense if Hillary Clinton had won the election," because the  "shady" operatives Attkisson scrutinizes (notably David Brock) were working to elect Hillary, and Trump was on his own, making it up as he went along.I imagine that Attkisson had already done the majority of the work that went into this book before she had to account for the fact that Trump won.
