Reading an assortment of files in no particular order, not being able to easily navigate backwards and forwards from one part of the bundle to another to cross check something – significantly compromises an advocates’ ability to prepare, to get a sense of the shape of the case – and leads to a need to re-read documents which didn’t make sense the first time around because they were approached without vital contextual knowledge.
