People might have differential reactions as to which prong of the following equation is the more erroneous of the two, but I feel fairly strongly that at least one of the prongs is wrong:Part I: Lamar Thompson gets convicted in state court of child molestation of someone under 12 years old -- presumably (though the opinion doesn't expressly say so), his 10-year old stepdaughter and his friend's 8-year old daughter) -- and is sentenced to serve a year in prison.
