Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners won permission from the European Commission on Wednesday to buy forklift firm Kion for 4 billion euros ($5.1 billion). “The Commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not significantly impede competition in the European Economic Area,” the commission said in a statement.
