Now, the trucking company may say that the truck driver was so far outside the rules that they shouldn’t be held accountable for the accident, but really, these companies are responsible for vetting, hiring, and training these drivers to industry standards, and if they failed to do so, the doctrine of respondeat superior (let the master answer) will show that the trucking company is still responsible, no matter how hard they try to shake… [read post]
