At this time, only one of the metal-on-metal hip implant products has been recalled (the DePuy ASR implant), but there are safety concerns and ongoing litigation involving other non-recalled, metal-on-metal hip devices manufactured by DePuy, Zimmer, Stryker, Biomet, Smith & Nephew, and Wright Medical.
