Jeffress was trying to show that Ari told David Gregory of NBC News and John Dickenson of Time about Plame's job and supposed role in sending Wilson to Africa -- the inference being, that maybe Russert really heard about Plame from Gregory while Dickenson may have been the person who told Matthew Cooper.
