Doing all this took a bit of time because I have a day job as dean of a law school and because, as host of TV and radio shows, I had to extensively prepare for and conduct four hours of interviews with the authors of two other very important recent books, Jules Lobel's Less Safe, Less Free (coauthored with David Cole) and Charlie Savage's Takeover: The Return of the Imperial Presidency and the Subversion of American Democracy.
