David Vitter (R-LA) would preempt (i.e. decimate) all the good that states have done in this area, and Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairwoman Barbara Boxer (among others), is rightly concerned about this enormous problem with the bill (which would also prevent injury victims from holding chemical companies accountable in court, BTW).
