In a decision that makes me despair for the human race, a Sudanese court has sentenced teacher Gillian Gibbons to 15 days in prison for "insulting religion, inciting hatred and showing contempt for religious beliefs" by allowing her class to name a teddy bear 'Muhammad'.I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I am reminded of a quote by Arthur C Clarke.
