According to a state Health Department survey conducted in February, Anamosa was found to have a number of violations, including: Unsanitary bathrooms Unsafe food service procedures Failure to maintain sanitary medical procedures Another recent survey found that Anamosa failed to perform proper background checks, and as a result had registered criminals among its staff. He died in surgery early Friday morning at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Street, Davenport.Bailey, a registered sex offender who was released from the Anamosa State Penitentiary on March 5, was shot several times by an assailant who got out of a dark-colored car driven up near the front door of the restaurant.
