On June 4, the Supreme Court of New Zealand issued an important judgment in a case involving the extradition to China of Kyung Yup Kim, a South Korean national resident in New Zealand wanted on a murder charge. [read post]
The Supreme Court of New Zealand ruled on Friday that murder suspect Kyung Yup Kim can be extradited to China, subject to certain further assurances being received from China as to torture and fair trial-related issues. [read post]
