Looking at the filings in the Lara Jade case, it seems that Robert Burge made many of the same mistakes himself, confusing appearances of the work onlne, with and without copyright symbols, as meaning the work is in the public domain (in the legal sense).Both Burge and Griggs, at least supposedly, have decades of experience in their respective fields, fields that depend on copyright as laws that govern the industry.
