At about 9:00 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, February 9th, 45-year-old Larry Dale Duke lost control of his 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck near Mae Hensley Junior High School and jumped the curb on which five teenage girls were walking, killing 13-year-old Danielle Tarancon-Leon, a student at the school.
