Understandably, Green and Stewart wished to note that in some cases, scientists could reasonably come to different conclusions about causation from a given data set, but their silence about the many cases in which scientists, outside the courtroom, do not reach the causal conclusion contended for by party advocate expert witnesses, is telling, given the obvious pro-litigation bias of their audience.
