Market Crisis Case On March 13, 2012, the SEC announced that it had brought charges against the CEO, CFO and Chief Accounting Officer of Thornburg Mortgage Inc., alleging that the three executives hid "the company’s deteriorating financial condition at the onset of the financial crisis" and did not disclose severe liquidity problems in the company's Annual Report, as discussed here.
