Here in Ohio, there's been all sorts of litigation.In state court, a trial judge decided in the cases of Ruben Rivera and Ronald McCloud, who were facing capital charges but hadn't actually been tried, that Ohio's method of lethal injection was unconstitutional because Ohio inmates had a right created by state statute to a painless lethal injection death and Ohio's killing system carried an unnecessary risk of inflicting pain.
