Here's an interesting one:  the US Postal Service owes an artist $3.5 million for using what they thought was a photo of the Statue of Liberty on a stamp but which turned out to be a photo of a variation on the actual statue that lives outside a New York-themed hotel in Las Vegas. [read post]
