Cheese hit the news, transformative art was all the rage (or prompting rage), that monkey selfie case finally reached the end of the line, Canadian musician and now photographer Bryan Adams pointed out some of the realities of what lobbying in the 'name of' creators, authors and artists actually means (and often it is certainly not for the benefit those very creators), and a case that the recorded music sector seemingly 'lost' ended up looking like a big win!
