Ultimately, this indicates that clean/renewable power that costs more to produce, such as solar, will not be supported, but if clean energy sources (such as run-of-river and wind) can compete on a competitive level with other energy supply sources, BC Hydro may "play ball" so to speak, with these types of IPP projects in future power purchases.
