If it is true that the social media accounts of the Prince and Princess of Wales are officially their own, then Prince William could have a claim against Kate but obviously not against himself.Secondly, accepting that William did indeed author the initial image, can then Kate be regarded as the author of the subsequent edited image, with the result that the latter would qualify as a ‘derivative work’?
