Let me explain why.As Connie Crosby points out in the comments on this Slaw post, a firm that spends a couple hundred dollars on legal dictionaries isn't going to increase their budget to thousands just because we are now able to tether a digital copy to a smart phone. [read post]

My sense that I had connected here was confirmed when we spotted this wonderful posting from Canadian Librarian Connie Crosby: http://www.slaw.ca/2011/07/25/new-york-law-schools-dragnet-focused-legal-search/ Then I went to a program on emerging technologies which turned out to be not really about the technology but about the political processes one goes through to bring forward technological innovations to a campus.
