I'm not necessarily a believer in hard-and-fast term limits, given that I've argued elsewhere that a real problem with the 22nd Amendment is that we can't "suspend" its operation in circumstances--during time of war, say,--when it's really stupid to evict a really talented Commander/Diplomat-in-Chief simply because it's two terms and out.
