While one would think these would be lessons that should have been learned both in the 2006 Pirate Bay raid, the arrest of the site’s admins in 2008 and the 2012 shuttering of Megaupload, along with the arrest of Kim Dotcom, they are lessons that bear repeating, especially when the site involved has remained openly defiant through all of the above incidents.
