Of course as readers know, another change will occur at the end of the year (sooner if he didn't like Judge Davis so much according to Judge Folsom) when Chief Judge David Folsom will step down as the district's chief judge, to be replaced by Judge Leonard Davis of Tyler. [read post]

What with the whole practicing law thing I don't have details yet, but the street gossip is that yesterday the Tyler jury in Judge Leonard Davis' court (being presided over by Judge Love during deliberations) in everybody's favorite case to hate - the magical expanding, contracting, settling, bifurcated, un-bifurcated, severed, consolidated, sorta severed again, definitely consolidated, jury pool-swallowing all around bad guest on the May Tyler docket… [read post]

A couple of weeks ago it took a Tyler jury one hour and fifty minutes to render a verdict in the first of the two Bedrock cases  scheduled to be tried in Judge Davis' court in April and early May - that one against Google. [read post]
