And then reach on in to grab whatever they might find.The Court of Appeal holds that such a search is entirely "reasonable" in scope and effect.Sure, the defendant here happens to be on parole, with a "diminished expectation of privacy," but I didn't know that meant to were compelled to show your junk to any official who wants to view it.P.S. - I tend to think that I'm reasonably well-informed as to various legal -- and non-legal -- terms. In November 2008 we reported here that the English High Court had ruled that employers' liability policies, however they are worded, are triggered by exposure to asbestos and not when, many years later, the tumour develops.The appeal of that decision starts today in the English Court of Appeal before Lord Justice Rix, Lady Justice Smith and Lord Justice Stanley Burnton and is expected to last for three weeks.
