This is a great pick for legal bloggers because she was: (1) a front runner whom bloggers had already been researching; and (2) an experienced judge with 6+ years in the Southern District of New York (S.D.N.Y.) and 10+ years in the Second Circuit (meaning she has tons of opinions to dig through!).
